Title: The Influence of an Export Manager on Export Marketing Policies: Evidence from Exporting Olive Oil Companies in Crete
Abstract: Olive oil from Crete is renowned for being of the highest quality. Increased competition between traditionally non-producer and producer countries has resulted from the rising demand for olive oil due to its health benefits in the post-pandemic global environment. Exports of olive oil have an impact on the stability and financial growth of the businesses that trade it as well as the Crete prefecture’s economy. There are many variables that can affect a company’s export performance, but it is generally acknowledged that having an export manager on staff has a positive effect. This essay seeks to determine how an export manager affects export marketing strategies. The Chi-Square Test (2) was determined to be the most appropriate criterion for the development of the research. There are statistically significant correlations between the variables, according to the 2 test. The research’s conclusions show that an exports manager can have an impact on international promotions and market research before exporting to a new foreign market. Companies that export Cretan olive oil seem to benefit from having an export manager on staff and from the level of certified knowledge he or she possesses.
