Abstract: The practice of having students provide feedback on one another’s work can be beneficial in the classroom for a variety of different subject areas and in several different settings. The act of students providing feedback on the projects completed by other students is becoming an increasingly widespread practice. On the other hand, the value obtained by gathering comments from colleagues is likely to be significantly influenced by the capabilities of both the author and the reviewer. This is a significant factor to take into account. This is because seeking the guidance of one’s contemporaries can result in a broad array of outcomes to one’s advantage. We create a one-of-a-kind model of such relative ability impacts on peer review employing the Flower and Hayes model of revision processes, which has earned a great deal of support during its development. This model will shed light on how relative ability influences peer review. The Flower and Hayes model of revision processes provides the intellectual underpinnings, which is the foundation upon which this theory is built. This model offers an innovative strategy for the analysis of the processes of revision, which may be found here.
