Title: Rapid Antigen, RT-PCR, and Artificial Intelligence Methods for COVID-19 Diagnosis
Abstract: SARS-CoV-2 has killed 5.3 million people and infected over 278 million as of December 27, 2021. Different techniques, from medicine to artificial intelligence, have been used since the COVID-19 outbreak for its detection, diagnosis, and surveillance. In the meantime, quick and effective point-of-care (POC) testing and self-testing kits are now required in the fight against COVID-19 and to help medical staff and governments stop the virus’s spread. The various COVID-19 detection techniques, diagnostic tools, and surveillance strategies that have been employed or suggested are reviewed in this paper. Researchers working in this area and all health policymakers should find the review provided in this article useful.
