Abstract: It may be challenging to write an argumentative paper on a disputed subject, especially if the issue itself is debatable if the document’s substance contradicts itself. Investigate, arrange, and generate arguments and counterarguments gathered from a wide range of sources to support a conclusion that has been presented traditionally and is conclusive. Even though it may be challenging, argumentative writing is not typically taught at the Spanish educational institutions in charge of dispensing higher education. Another benefit of this position is that it does not require a high level of involvement in internet activities. After receiving requests for assistance in developing coherent and logically sound arguments from students enrolled in a college that offers distance learning, we developed and evaluated a fully online training program. The pupils requested help in formulating their arguments. In addition to a control group design, 68 different students participated in this pre-post investigation. Participants could get personalized teaching through video lectures, practice exercises, and quick feedback, thanks to the accessibility of free internet resources. Participants may access these resources whenever they want. After attending the workshop, the participants’ written work significantly improved, especially in terms of organization, the number of counterarguments offered, and the degree to which they combined the two competing points of view. The study’s findings support these conclusions. Despite this, few items with a medium or high level of integration were readily accessible on the market. These results demonstrate the efficacy of teaching argumentative writing in higher education using online training. Students still require additional education to increase their capacity for integrative synthesis development and general academic success. Additionally, this will assist the children in enhancing their general classroom performance. We strongly recommend incorporating further improvements into the pre-planned training in light of these findings.
