In order to facilitate bone bridging, the current treatment involves harvesting and transplanting an autologous bone graft. to create less invasive but still powerful methods One must first have a thorough understanding of the bone healing process before considering treatment options. Therefore, it is essential to use the most cutting-edge technologies to clarify the fundamental concepts. concepts of bone healing and create cutting-edge therapeutic approaches to close the nonunion gap. We first go over the animal models that are currently being used to study critical-size bone defects in this review. Then, we examine four novel analytical approaches and talk about their advantages and disadvantages. These four technologies are single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq), mass cytometry (CyTOF) for detailed transcriptome analysis, imaging mass cytometry (IMC) for enhanced tissue special imaging, and luminex assays for thorough protein secretome analysis. With this new knowledge of how critical-size bone defects heal, new techniques for diagnosis and treatment will appear.
