Title: Multiple Myeloma’s Prognostic Factors Have Changed Over Time
Abstract: The development, progression, and prognosis of multiple myeloma (MM), a heterogeneous hematologic malignancy, involve the proliferation of plasma cells derived from various genetic events. The disease is still incurable despite advancements in MM treatment over the past ten years. All efforts are currently concentrated on comprehending the disease’s prognostic markers in the hopes of incorporating new therapeutic modalities to make the condition curable. We present this extensive review to highlight the implications of the novel techniques that are still under development as well as the current standard prognosticmarkers used in MM in current clinical practice.
