Title: Moderately Charged Rare-Gas Atom Spectral Analysis
Abstract: This article provides a review of the spectral analysis of various neon, argon, krypton, and xenon ions and their effects on laser studies and astrophysics, which were primarily conducted in our interdisciplinary groups between Argentina and Brazil over a long period of time. Using pulsed discharges, the spectra were captured from the vacuum ultraviolet to infrared regions. These investigations also used semi-empirical methods with relativistic Hartree-Fock and Dirac-Fock calculations. New energy levels and classified lines were produced by the spectral analysis. We also calculated oscillator strengths and lifetimes.
