Title: How to Screen Eggs and Egg Products Using Micellar Liquid Chromatography for Oxolonic Acid, Ciprofloxacin, Enrofloxacin, and Sarafloxacin
Abstract: For the purpose of identifying oxolinic acid, ciprofloxacin, enrofloxacin, and sarafloxacin in eggs and egg products, a technique based on micellar liquid chromatography was created. The micellar solution containing the antimicrobial medications was administered directly. The analytes were separated on a C18 column using an isocratic mode and a mobile phase consisting of 0.05 M sodium dodecyl sulfate, 7.5% 1-propanol, and 0.5% triethylamine. Fluorescence was used to keep an eye on the signal. Specificity, calibration range (LOQ to 1 mg/kg), linearity (R 2 > 0.9991), limit of detection and decision limit (0.01-0.05 mg/kg), limit of quantification (0.025-0.150 mg/kg), detection capability (0.4 times decision limit), trueness (14.2% to +9.8%), precision (14.0%), robustness, and stability were all sucfood safety; fluorescence; laying hen; optimization; solid-to-liquid extraction; validationcessfully validated in accordance with the EU Commission Decision 2002/657/EC. The method is useful for routine analysis as a screening method in a lab for food residue control because it is safe, easy to use, affordable, and has a high sample throughput.
