Description
Title: Granulomatosis with polyangiitis’ unusual symptoms present a diagnostic challenge for pulmonologists.
Abstract: This review examines atypical granulomatosis with polyangiitis symptoms (GPA). Any organ may be impacted, and in some patients, GPA may present in an unusual way. Since thoracic involvement of GPA frequently predominates, pulmonary specialists should be the first to make a diagnosis. We want to introduce several extra-ELK (E: ear, nose, and throat; L: lung; K: kidney) involvements of the disease to pulmonary specialists. The breast, skeletal system, orbit and eye, heart and vessels, central nervous system, urogenital system, as well as endocrine and gastrointestinal tract involvement, are examples of sites rarely affected by GPA.
