Title: CH4-Containing Mixtures: Collisional Electron Spectroscopy for the Detection of Gas Impurities in an Open Environment
Abstract: To implement the operation in an open environment, the collisional electron spectroscopy method for analyzing and determining gaseous impurities was further developed. The method also simplifies the registration of the reactive radicals produced by the discharge reaction in addition to the impurity components. In an open setting, a stable, non-local, negative glow equipotential plasma was produced using a sandwich-like discharge structure, and the I-V characteristic curve of the plasma was recorded using an additional sensor electrode. By correcting the first derivative of the probe current I with respect to the probe potential V with a diffusion function, the collisional electron spectroscopy was obtained. Our research also supports the validity of the sink theory.
