Title: A stylometric method based on NLP for monitoring the development of L1 written language proficiency
Abstract: For this study, we suggest a stylometric technique supported by Natural Language Processing (NLP) to keep track of how Italian L1 learners’ written language proficiency is developing. This approach was created to track a person’s improvement in written language proficiency. Teachers may use this technique to assess how well their pupils can express themselves in writing. The approach aims to monitor how effectively students’ communication skills, particularly their written communication skills, are developing (NLP). The first longitudinal corpus of writings produced by kids whose first and second years of lower secondary school were spent in Italy is called Citer. All of the students in this class speak Italian as their first language. These children could communicate in their mother tongue, Italian (Corpus Italiano di Apprendenti L1). This method considers a wide range of traits, the bulk of which have origins in the language. The method’s main objective is to provide readers with a way to recognize the stylistic elements in a piece of writing. These qualities were taken from student writings published in Citer (Corpus Italiano di Apprenditi L1). The writings were analyzed using these criteria to see how well the writings met the requirements. Students are expected to make an educated estimate as to the order in which a collection of essays written by the same student at various times will be presented in the end output when working on a supervised categorization assignment.The identical student wrote each essay at various points throughout the school year. The first thing that must be done to address this problem is to provide a history of the origins of written language. The same student wrote each essay at various points during the academic year. We hope to take on the difficult task of re-creating the evolution of written language by using this approach, which is the method we aim to use. We wish to proceed in this manner. We may reasonably conclude that it is possible to automatically foresee the tremendously significant changes that have affected the evolution of written language through time due to the positive results produced in various classification situations. The conclusion drawn from these data was based on the positive impacts shown in various setting types. This conclusion was drawn as a consequence of the positive results attained in several classification scenarios. That choice was motivated by the investigation’s insightful results, and the conclusion deduced from them. We could draw the additional conclusion that it is feasible to identify the traits that are more predictive of this process due to the positive results we had acquired. We came to this conclusion as a result of the following: We are in a position to reach this conclusion as a direct result of being able to draw the conclusion that we can draw, which is why we can do so. We focus on the numerous aspects of a person’s background that could or might not affect their capacity to learn a new language in the section of the essay that acts as a conclusion. We also went through the preliminary results of pilot research that looked at how a student’s growth pattern is affected by understanding their educational environment. The link between the two was examined in this study. This study sought to ascertain whether familiarity with the school environment influenced the observed development trends. This study aimed to determine whether there is a connection between the patterns of developmental change that have been noticed and the information gathered about the school environment. This study aimed to learn how the information affected the patterns to comprehend how they both worked more efficiently. The goal of the study was to get a greater understanding of this relationship by examining the potential influences that a student’s educational environment may have on the patterns of developmental advancement that might be seen.
