Title: Applications in Sports Medicine and Chronic Wound Healing Using Collagen-Based Biomaterials
Abstract: Tissue types that have trouble healing naturally are being treated with the help of advances in tissue engineering. The delicate control of the exogenous matrix, cells, and other factors is necessary to produce better healing conditions. From the standpoint of the matrix component, this review aims to investigate the aspects of tissue engineering in particular tissue types treated in sports medicine and advanced wound management. Collagen I is the main topic, but it would be imprudent to ignore how it relates to the other influencing factors. healing induced by tissue engineering. Reconstituted collagen scaffolds, decellularized matrix tissue, and non-decellularized tissue are the three main types of materials enumerated here. The ranking of these three groups is based on the proportion of components other than collagen that they contain.
