Title: Body Acoustics for Non-Invasive Medical Condition Diagnosis
Abstract: Body acoustics-based non-invasive monitoring techniques have been created over the past few decades to investigate a variety of medical conditions, such as gastrointestinal tract disorders, respiratory issues, nervous system disorders, and cardiovascular diseases. Recent The interest in creating acoustic-based diagnostic solutions has increased as a result of developments in sensing technologies and computational power. These techniques analyze the acoustic signals using a variety of signal processing, machine learning, and computational methods. The acoustic signals are typically recorded by acoustic sensors, such as microphones and accelerometers. In order to assess the current state of the art, assess the key challenges, and discuss future directions, this paper reviews the advancements in these fields. This review suggests that these acoustic-based research investigations can eventually be transformed into novel health monitoring and point-of-care solutions through rigorous data analysis and physiological understandings.
