Title: A Reiteration of Noncoding RNAs’ Emergence as Regulators of the Important Gallbladder Cancer Symptoms
Abstract: The malignancy known as gall bladder cancer (GBC) is uncommon, among the most aggressive, and frequently accompanied by a poor prognosis and survival rate. It is a highly metastatic cancer that frequently goes undiagnosed in the early stages, which lowers patient survival rates. The range of the currently accessible surgical and nonsurgical treatment modalities is restricted by the disease’s poor diagnosis and chemoresistance. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate new therapeutic targets and biomarkers that will lessen the severity of the disease and result in cutting-edge therapeutic approaches. Numerous noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs), such as circular RNAs (circRNAs), long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs), microRNAs (miRNAs), and small nucleolar RNAs (snoRNAs), have abnormal expression patterns that have been linked to GBC’s increased cell proliferation, epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), invasion, migration, metastasis, chemoresistance, and decreased apopto Numerous studies have shown that dysregulated ncRNA expression in GBC patients is linked to a poor prognosis and lower disease-free and overall survival. These studies imply that novel diagnostic and prognostic markers for the treatment of GBC may be ncRNAs. By examining their functional and regulatory roles, the current review recapitulates the involvement of various ncRNAs in the onset and progression of GBC and the creation of novel therapeutic approaches.
