Abstract:
Considering that SCM is the most widely used acronym for the field, this research categorizes the many articles that have been produced on supply chain management. This study offers this classification. Studies of SCM are also examined as part of this research, especially those pertinent to the textile sector. This article provides a thorough evaluation and criticism of the supply chain management (SCM) approach currently being applied in the textile sector. The SCM method is examined in this section. At various stages of research on SCM, many academic databases are used, including EBSCO Host, Science Direct, ABI/INFORM Global, and Emerald. It has only recently been discovered that all cultures around the world accept no universally accepted definition of SCM. This information was discovered as a result of the current study’s conclusions. This is fresh information that has to be considered. Studies on supply chain management receive some interest from the textile sector. This may be seen as somewhat similar to the previously mentioned situation.
On the other hand, the descriptions of SCM categories are organized in a hierarchy, with the categories that have received the most attention being listed at the top and the categories that have received the least attention being included at the bottom. The areas that have received the most attention are found at the top of the list due to how it is organized. Considering all of the research pertinent to the topic, it has been figured out how to provide a comprehensive definition of SCM. This is because, depending on the criteria used to conduct the investigation, SCM may be defined in various ways. We’ve concluded that this is the case as a result of this. Certain holes in the SCM studies are now available that must be addressed as soon as possible, especially for the textile sector. In particular, this must be completed as quickly as is practical. Since this problem can no longer be disregarded, a solution must be found as soon as it is practically possible.
