Title: Mikobakteriozy PUC – Clinical View, Diagnosis, and Treatment
Abstract: A group of bacteria known as nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) can cause the mycobacteriosis disease in humans but not leprosy or tuberculosis. NTM are acquired through exposure to water, aerosols, soil, and dust in the environment and are transmitted to people through ingestion, inhalation, and skin lesions as a result of wounds, surgeries, or intravenous catheters. The most susceptible group of people are those with immune system suppression and those who already have lung damage from one or more lung diseases. There is no proof that these illnesses spread from person to person. Although there have been many different NTM infection manifestations described, the lungs continue to be the most frequently affected site. By using molecular techniques, it is possible to distinguish NTM isolates from TB isolates more quickly and to discover new NTM species. The goal of this article is to review the most prevalent clinical NTM lung disease symptoms, NTM lung disease conditions, diagnostic standards, and NTM lung disease treatments.
