Title: lung cancer pain management
Abstract: The leading cause of cancer-related death worldwide is lung cancer. Patients with lung cancer are not only burdened by the poor overall survival rate; they also experience a variety of symptoms, including pain, that have an impact on their quality of life. Cancer pain is a complex, dynamic symptom that changes over time and is brought on by various mechanisms. The pathophysiology of cancer pain and a general strategy for treating a patient with lung cancer pain are described in this review. As part of the pharmacology therapy and interventional strategy, the use of opioids, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), and adjuvant analgesia will also be covered.
