Title: Effects of Procedure Changes on Poland’s Assessment of the Effectiveness of Professional Activation Methods
Abstract: The need to account for the money set aside for active labor market policy is related. The analysis that was done is a component of a larger study on how legal regulations affect hanges. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of modifications to the methodology used to calculate the costs and employment effectiveness of the most fundamental forms of economic activation in Poland. They were first introduced in 2015 in connection with the ongoing debate over the efficacy of the evaluation techniques employed. With funding from the Labour Fund, Poland’s Ministry of Economic Development, Labour, and Technology is currently in charge of reactivating the unemployed. Regression discontinuity design analysis is used. This analysis demonstrated that only the slope of the cost effectiveness regression line, for both methods of calculating it, changed significantly after 2015. This demonstrates that the recently introduced, new methods of calculating effectiveness were merely cosmetic and had no discernible impact on their values. Extending the time of required employment might be a good suggestion for enhancing the process of evaluating types of economic activation of the unemployed.
