Title: Do Village Allocation Funds Help Achieve SDG#2 of Reducing Hunger in Local Communities? A Perspective from Indonesia
Abstract: This study aims to demonstrate whether there is a connection between the distribution of village funds and the level of hunger in the community using an exclusive data set from Indonesia in the years 2018 to 2020. This study specifically aims to determine whether the Village Fund allocation policy has an impact on the accomplishment of Sustainable Development Goal #2 (SDG #2) of the United Nations. This study used a quantitative approach and regression analysis to discover that the Indonesian government’s distribution of village funds supported the reduction of hunger and poverty in all regions of Indonesia’s villages. The findings of this study have implications for sustainable food inclusion policy, particularly in Indonesian villages.
